Business started in 1988.   Northeast Spine & Wellness is   offering full-service chiropractic care six days a week, as well as offering guidance on proper diet and exercise.  The office offers a flexible schedule allowing for morning, afternoon, and evening and Saturday appointments. 

 

 Dr. Joseph Gulyas.  He is a graduate of both Skidmore College, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree, and the New York Chiropractic College where he received top honors and awards, obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1987.  He was awarded Clinician of the Year by the Greenvale Outpatient Facility for his clinical expertise.  In 1995, he was awarded Small Business Person of the Year by SCCC and named recipient of the Jaycees’ Award for Excellence in the Field of Medicine.  Dr. Gulyas is a past president and current active member of the Shenendehowa Rotary Club, a past board of director of the Southern Saratoga Chamber of Commerce.  He was president of the New York State Chiropractic Association District #10 from 1992 to 1994 and was one of the original founders of the Northeast Chiropractic Providers Group, a not-for-profit chiropractic PPO.  Dr. Gulyas has maintained active participation in community events, as well as in his professional life.

 

DESCRIPTION:  The Northeast Spine & Wellness Office is currently located at 325 Ushers Road. Dr. Gulyas maintains his private practice in the Capital District as he has for the past 18 years.  He has been a consultant to sports clubs and industry over the years, most notably in the field of ergonomics.  The office is fully handicapped accessible and is accredited by the Capital District Physicians Health Plan, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and  United Healthcare.
